Holland Lops Hawaii is a small, family-run rabbitry in Honolulu, dedicated to raising happy, healthy, and high-quality Holland Lop bunnies. We breed on a small scale to ensure each bunny receives the individual care and attention they need - always prioritizing quality over quantity. As a registered ARBA breeder, our mission is to restore the true-to-type Holland Lop to the islands, producing well-structured, even-tempered bunnies with pedigrees that reflect generations of thoughtful, purposeful breeding.

Our love for animals began in childhood, growing up in Hawaii surrounded by pets -including bunnies. Holland Lops quickly became a favorite for their gentle nature and signature look. Years later, when our pet-store chinchilla was diagnosed with Malocclusion, an often hereditary dental diseases, we learned the importance of ethical breeding and strong genetic foundations.

​When searching for Holland Lops locally, we realized many had lost the classic look and temperament of the breed due to poor pairings and crossbreeding. That led us to build a program focused on preservation and purpose.

To establish our herd, we partnered with experienced breeders across the mainland, carefully hand-selecting each bunny. Though the import process was long and complex, every bunny arrived safely and now plays an important role in our program.

Our bunnies are raised inside our home with daily handling and socialization, thanks to the help of our three-year-old daughter and three Cockapoos.  The result is confident, well-adjusted bunnies ready to thrive as cherished companions. ​
